1. [+111] Supporting your kids like this is great but who knows if the kids will follow through... I'm an elementary tutor myself but most of them hate having to study...
2. [+82] Hard to tell with just the preview for this episode but it seems... foolish.. It's not like this expense is going towards actual middle or high school education.. ใ ใ ใ ใ ใ
3. [+45] It's tragic for the less fortunate parents who have kids with talent or interest but can't afford for them to pursue anything. Parents would give up a kidney if it meant they could help their kids out. This family should be grateful that they can do so much.
4. [+38] However much it costs, all parents are probably the same in that they want to give their children everything. If you have the money, what's 100 million won or 1 million won, it doesn't matter ใ ใ
5. [+36] It's not bad if they make 60 million won a month
6. [+25] It's not like any of us know how much they make so how can we judge them for spending 8 million won a month on their kids? If they make over 50 million won a month, maybe 8 million won isn't even a big deal for them ๐
7. [+24] Nothing wrong with parents funding all the support they can. I went to six after school academies for six years before I entered middle school, and I still think it was a great experience for me! It helped a lot with finding my career path later in life. If you have the money, spend it on your kids ๐ฅฐ
8. [+15] I wonder just how successful those kids will be later in life after spending this mess of a money ใ กใ ก
9. [+8] It's funny because they themselves didn't do any studying as kids. They should realize that throwing money at something doesn't mean the kids are necessarily learning.
10. [+7] Easy to add up to 8 million won if you send them to English schools, a few private tutors each;;; seems like a lot of people here don't have kids in academies
11. [+7] Oh Eun Young therapist hit the nail on the head... some parents try too hard to fulfill their own needs through their children...
12. [+5] One of the reasons why our birth rate keeps declining
13. [+3] Most of the educational stuff comes from the parents when they're this young... what kind of education are these kids even being given to require such a high expense? I hope they don't get burnt out when they start learning things that actually matter...
14. [+2] Yulhee's family does spend on the higher end but I can see expenses getting that high if you're catering everything to your children. I'd be happy if my high schooler spent 6.5 million won a month.
15. [+2] I notice it's always the people who never did anything growing up that project all their insecurities onto their children
16. [+1] The expenses are high likely because they're also including private English tutors, babysitters, international vacations to help with English immersion, etc.
17. [+1] I doubt anyone would have a problem if chaebols were saying they spent this much ใ ใ ใ you don't even know how much this family makes so why butt in? ใ ใ ใ ใ ใ Obviously they're able to afford it so they're doing all they can for them...
